Fort Oglethorpe City, Georgia is a city of the Catoosa and Walker counties, Georgia, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 6940 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 9663 in July 2008, It is the 109th largest by population in the U.S. state of Georgia. It has total area of 13.03 miē (33.75 kmē), giving it the 56th largest by total area among Georgia.
