Fort Mill Town is a town located in York County, South Carolina, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 7587 people (2000 census). Its population was estimated at 10032 in July 2008, making it South Carolina's 59th largest. Its area is just over 4.62 mi˛ (11.97 square kilometre), of which, 4.56 square miles (11.81 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 116th largest in terms of geographical size.
