It is the 29th least populous in the U.S. state of Maine. The census designated place extends throughout a territory of 2.24 square miles (5.8 square kilometre ), of which, 2.23 square miles (5.78 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 15th smallest by total area in Maine.
