Fort Chiswell Cdp is a United States census designated place located in the Wythe County, Virginia, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 911 inhabitants. It is the 106th least populous in the U.S. state of Virginia. Its area is just over 12.1 sq mi (31.34 kmē), it is the 46th largest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 911 people, 357 households, and 264 families residing in the census designated place. The population density was 75.3 people per square mile (29.07/kmē), giving it the fifth least densely populated census designated place among the Virginia.
