Its area is just over 11.03 sq mi (28.57 sq km), of which, 10.84 square miles (28.08 sq km) of it is land and 0.19 square miles (0.49 sq km) of it is water, it is the 35th largest by area in the U.S. state of Montana. It is ranks 18 in the size of its inland waterways in Montana.
