Forest City Town is a United States town located in the Rutherford County, North Carolina, United States. Forest City Town had an official population of 7549 in 2000. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 7172, It is North Carolina's 87th largest by population . It is spread over 8.23 square miles (21.32 sq km), of which, 8.22 square miles (21.29 sq km ) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 95th largest by area in the U.S. state of North Carolina.
