Ford County, Illinois is a county located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 14241. The July 2008 population estimate is 14050, making it Illinois's 24th smallest county. It is spread over 486.42 square miles (1259.82 kmē), of which, 485.9 square miles (1258.48 kmē ) of it is land and 0.52 square miles (1.35 kmē) of it is water, making it the 58th largest by size in Illinois.

For every 100 females there were 91.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87 males.
