Fond Du Lac County is one of the 72 county of Wisconsin, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 97296. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 99453, making it the 15th most populous county in Wisconsin. The county has a total area of 765.8 sq mi (1983.41 sq km), of which, 722.91 square miles (1872.33 sq km) of it is land and 42.89 square miles (111.08 sq km) of it is water, it is the 44th largest in terms of geographical size.

For every 100 females there were 95.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.2 males. The July 2008 population estimate is 99453, The racial makeup of the county was 95880 White, 1349 Black or African American, 456 American Indian, 904 Asian, 34 Native Hawaiian, and 830 from two or more races.
