Florence City is a city in the Fremont County, Colorado, United States. In 2000, city's population was 3653 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 3625, It is Colorado's 110th largest by population . Its area is just over 4.08 sq mi (10.57 sq km), of which, 4.07 square miles (10.54 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 107th largest by area in the U.S. state of Colorado.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3653 people, 1488 households, and 973 families residing in the city.
