Flemingsburg City is one of the city of Fleming County, Kentucky, located towards the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 3010 as per the Census data. Its population was estimated at 2673 in July 2008, It is Kentucky's 121st largest by population . It is spread over 2.65 sq mi (6.86 sq km), of which, 2.55 square miles (6.6 sq km ) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 sq km) of it is water, it is the 151st largest by area in the U.S. state of Kentucky.

The racial makeup of the city was 2791 White, 152 Black or African American, 3 American Indian, 12 Asian, Native Hawaiian, 39 from two or more races and 13 Ohter races.
