Flandreau City is a city located in the Moody County, South Dakota, United States. Flandreau City had an official population of 2376 in 2000. Its population was estimated at 2222 in July 2008, giving it the 31st largest population among South Dakota. The city encompasses an area of 1.79 square miles (4.64 square kilometre ), of which, 1.73 square miles (4.48 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 67th largest in terms of geographical size. It is ranks 19 in the size of its inland waterways in South Dakota.

The population density was 1370.9 people per square mile (529.31/kmē), making its South Dakota's 45th most densely populated city.
