Fifty Lakes City is a city in the Crow Wing County, Minnesota, United States. As of 2000 the population was 392. In July 2008, its estimated population was 421, It is the 538th largest by population in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It covers total area of 33.18 mi˛ (85.94 sq km), of which, 29.03 square miles (75.19 sq km) of it is land and 4.15 square miles (10.75 sq km) of it is water, making it the 39th largest by size in Minnesota. It is ranks 17 in the size of its inland waterways in Minnesota.

The population density was 13.5 people per square mile (5.21/km˛), it is Minnesota's least densely populated city.
