Ferris City is a United States city located in the Ellis and Dallas counties, Texas, United States. It is home to over 2175 people (2000 census). The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 2566, making it the 606th most populous in Texas. Its area is just over 3.11 square miles (8.05 square kilometre), makes it the 620th largest by total area in Texas.
