Ferguson City is a one of the St. Louis County, Missouri, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. Ferguson City had an official population of 22406 in 2000. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 20964, It is the 30th most populous in the U.S. state of Missouri. It covers total area of 6.2 square miles (16.06 kmē), of which, 6.19 square miles (16.03 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 96th largest by area in the U.S. state of Missouri.

As of the census of 2000, there were 22406 people, 8612 households, and 5841 families residing in the city.
