Federalsburg Town is a one of the Caroline County, Maryland, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, town's population was 2620 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 2625, making it Maryland's 219th largest. It covers total area of 2.01 sq mi (5.21 square kilometre), of which, 1.95 square miles (5.05 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 226th largest by area in the U.S. state of Maryland.

The population density was 1341.5 people per square mile (517.96/kmē), giving it the 229th most densely populated town among the Maryland.
