Federal Heights City is a one of the Adams County, Colorado, located in Western Region (Mountain) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 12065 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 11732, It is the 43rd largest by population in the U.S. state of Colorado. It is spread over 1.8 square miles (4.66 square kilometre), it is the 177th largest by area in the U.S. state of Colorado.

As of the census of 2000, there were 12065 people, 5125 households, and 3022 families living in the city. The population density was 6721 people per square mile (2594.99/kmē), it is fourth most densely populated city in Colorado.
