Farrell City is a United States city located in the Mercer County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of 2000 the population was 6050. The July 2008 population estimate is 5751, making it the 231st most populous in Pennsylvania. Its area is just over 2.34 sq mi (6.06 sq km), it is the 306th largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
