Farmington Town is a one of the Alcorn County, Mississippi, located in Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The town has a population of 1810 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the town is 2219, It is the 135th most populous in the U.S. state of Mississippi. It covers total area of 3.76 sq mi (9.74 square kilometre), of which, 3.74 square miles (9.69 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 132nd largest by total area in Mississippi.
