Farmington City is a city located in Oakland County, Michigan, in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 10423 inhabitants. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 9839, It is the 114th largest by population in the U.S. state of Michigan. It has total area of 2.67 sq mi (6.92 square kilometre), it is the 263rd largest in terms of geographical size.
