Farmingdale Village is one of the city of Nassau County, New York, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 8399. The July 2008 population estimate is 8865, giving it the 221st largest population among New York. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.13 square miles (2.93 kmē), it is the 287th smallest by area in the U.S. state of New York.
