Farmer City City is a city in the De Witt County, Illinois, United States. As of 2000 the population was 2055. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 1951, making it Illinois's 495th largest. Its area is just over 2.35 sq mi (6.09 kmē), of which, 2.3 square miles (5.96 kmē) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 396th largest by total area among Illinois.
