Faribault County is a county located in Minnesota, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 16181. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 14624, It is 58th most populous county in Minnesota. The county comprises an area of 721.61 mi˛ (1868.96 sq km), of which, 713.63 square miles (1848.29 sq km) of it is land and 7.98 square miles (20.67 sq km) of it is water, making it the 39th largest by size in Minnesota.
