Far Hills Borough, New Jersey is a borough of the Somerset County, New Jersey, United States. It is home to over 859 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population of the borough is 898, It is the 25th smallest in terms of population. The borough encompasses an area of 4.92 sq mi (12.74 square kilometre ), of which, 4.86 square miles (12.59 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 115th largest by total area in New Jersey.

As of the census of 2000, there were 859 residents, 457 households, and 284 families in the borough. The population density was 176.8 people per square mile (68.26/kmē), it would be the ninth least densely populated borough in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
