Fanwood Borough is a borough located in the Union County, New Jersey, United States. As of 2000 the population was 7174. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 7088, It is the 227th largest in terms of population. The borough encompasses an area of 1.34 square miles (3.47 square kilometre), it is the 137th smallest by area in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
