As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 199, It is the 21st smallest by population in the U.S. state of West Virginia. The town comprises an area of 0.53 sq mi (1.37 kmē), of which, 0.51 square miles (1.32 kmē) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 kmē) of it is water, making it West Virginia's 78th smallest by total area.
