Fairport Village is one of the city of Monroe County, New York, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 5740 as per the Census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 5472, making it New York's 474th largest. The city comprises an area of 1.62 sq mi (4.2 square kilometre), of which, 1.57 square miles (4.07 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.05 square miles (0.13 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 63rd smallest in terms of geographical size.
