Fairlawn City is one of the city of Summit County, Ohio, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 7307. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 7030, It is the 220th largest in terms of population. The city encompasses an area of 4.44 sq mi (11.5 square kilometre ), of which, 4.43 square miles (11.47 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 229th largest by total area among Ohio.
