The July 2008 population estimate is 42384, It is the 25th most populous in the U.S. state of Ohio. Its area is just over 21.08 mi˛ (54.6 sq km), of which, 20.99 square miles (54.36 sq km) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 sq km) of it is water, it is the 31st largest in terms of geographical size.
