Fairfax Town is a one of the Marin County, California, located in Western Region (Pacific) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 7319 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 7066 in July 2008, It is California's 512th largest by population . The town spans an area of 2.13 sq mi (5.52 square kilometre), making it the 299th smallest by size in California.
