Exira City is a city located in Audubon County, Iowa, in the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 810. Its population was estimated at 722 in July 2008, It is the 340th largest by population in the U.S. state of Iowa. It covers total area of 1.02 mi˛ (2.64 sq km), it is the 363rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
