Everglades City is a city located in Collier County, Florida, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. It is home to over 479 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 610, giving it the 77th smallest population among Florida. The city has a total area of 1.19 sq mi (3.08 kmē), of which, 0.93 square miles (2.41 kmē) of it is land and 0.25 square miles (0.65 kmē) of it is water, making it the 174th smallest by size in Florida.

The population density was 513.2 people per square mile (198.15/kmē), it is the 163rd least densely populated city in the U.S. state of Florida.
