Evanston City, Wyoming is a city of the Uinta County, Wyoming, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 11507 inhabitants. In July 2008, its estimated population was 11781, making it the eighth most populous in Wyoming. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 10.29 square miles (26.65 sq km), of which, 10.24 square miles (26.52 sq km) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 sq km) of it is water, making it the 42nd largest by size in Wyoming.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 11507 people, 4058 households, and 2940 families residing in the city. The population density was 1123.2 people per square mile (433.67/kmē), it is Wyoming's 27th most densely populated city. There were 4665 housing units at an average density of 455.6 per square mile (175.91/kmē). The average household size was 2.77 people, and the average family size was 3.3 people. In the Evanston City, 33.4% of the population was under the age of 18, 9.4% were 18 to 24, 30.1% were 25 to 44, 20% were 45 to 64, and 7.2% who were 65 or older.
