Evansdale City is a city in the Black Hawk County, Iowa, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 4526 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 5056, giving it the 84th largest population among Iowa. The city spans an area of 4.23 square miles (10.96 sq km), of which, 4.21 square miles (10.9 sq km) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 sq km) of it is water, it is the 89th largest by area in the U.S. state of Iowa.
