Ethel Town is a town located in Attala County, Mississippi, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 452. The July 2008 population estimate is 458, making it the 77th least populous in Mississippi. The town extends throughout a territory of 0.6 mi˛ (1.55 square kilometre ), making it Mississippi's 32nd smallest by total area.

As of the census of 2000, there were 452 people in the town, organized into 173 households, and 125 families residing in the town.
