Essex Fells Borough is a borough in the Essex County, New Jersey, United States. The population of the borough was 2162 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 2107, making it the 102nd least populous in New Jersey. The borough encompasses an area of 1.41 mi˛ (3.65 square kilometre), making it New Jersey's 147th smallest by total area.
