Enid City is a one of the Garfield County, Oklahoma, located in Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. Enid City had an official population of 47045 in 2000. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 47396, It is the eighth largest by population in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 74.06 miē (191.81 kmē), of which, 73.97 square miles (191.58 kmē) of it is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 kmē) of it is water, it is the seventh largest by area in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.

The population density was 636 people per square mile (245.56/kmē), it would be the 329th most densely populated city in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The racial or ethnic makeup of the city was 87.18% White, 3.91% Black or African American, 2.12% American Indian, 1% Asian, 0.58% Native Hawaiian, 2.84% from two or more races and 2.36% Other races.
