Emmett City is a city located in the Gem County, Idaho, United States. In 2000, city's population was 5490 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 6357 in July 2008, giving it the 27th largest population among Idaho. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.82 sq mi (4.71 kmē), makes it the 57th largest by total area in Idaho.
