Emeryville City is a city located in Alameda County, California, in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. In 2000, the population was 6882. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 9583, It is 526th most populous in California. Its area is just over 1.93 mi˛ (5 sq km), of which, 1.22 square miles (3.16 sq km) of it is land and 0.71 square miles (1.84 sq km) of it is water, it is the 269th smallest in terms of geographical size.
