Emery County, Utah is a county of the United States of Utah. The population of county in 2000 stood at 10860 as per the Census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 10510, It is Utah's 19th most populous county. It is spread over 4461.54 sq mi (11555.34 kmē), of which, 4451.85 square miles (11530.24 kmē ) of it is land and 9.69 square miles (25.1 kmē) of it is water, it is the seventh largest in terms of geographical size.

The population density was 2.4 people per square mile (0.93/kmē), making its Utah's 18th most densely populated county. In the county the population was spread out, with 35.4% under the age of 18, 9.6% from 18 to 24, 24.1% from 25 to 44, 20.9% from 45 to 64, and 10.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 males there were 99.2 females. For every 100 males age 18 and over, there were 102.6 females. Its population was estimated at 10510 in July 2008, The racial makeup of the county was 10198 White, 35 Black or African American, 93 American Indian, 43 Asian, 11 Native Hawaiian, and 130 from two or more races.
