Elsmere City, Kenton County, Kentucky is a city located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. The population of the city was 8139 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 7932, making it Kentucky's 54th largest. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.5 sq mi (6.47 sq km), making it the 162nd largest by size in Kentucky.
