Ellsworth Borough, Washington County, Pennsylvania is a borough located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1083 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 1007 in July 2008, It is the 848th most populous in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. It covers total area of 0.76 mi˛ (1.97 square kilometre), of which, 0.74 square miles (1.92 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 884th largest by size in Pennsylvania.
