Ellendale City is one of the city of Dickey County, North Dakota, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 1559 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 1456, It is the 31st largest by population in the U.S. state of North Dakota. The city extends throughout a territory of 1.44 square miles (3.73 kmē ), it is the 63rd largest by area in the U.S. state of North Dakota.
