Elizabethtown City is a city located in the Hardin County, Kentucky, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 22542 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 24144, It is 15th most populous in Kentucky. The city spans an area of 24.38 sq mi (63.14 sq km), of which, 24.07 square miles (62.34 sq km) of it is land and 0.31 square miles (0.8 sq km) of it is water, it is the fourth largest in terms of geographical size.
