Elizabeth Town is one of the town of Wirt County, West Virginia, located towards the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 994. The July 2008 population estimate is 927, It is West Virginia's 156th largest by population . Its area is just over 0.53 square miles (1.37 sq km), of which, 0.48 square miles (1.24 sq km) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 80th smallest by total area among West Virginia.
