It is the 77th largest by population in the U.S. state of Hawaii. It is spread over 1.02 mi˛ (2.64 sq km), of which, 0.83 square miles (2.15 sq km ) of it is land and 0.19 square miles (0.49 sq km) of it is water, making it Hawaii's 15th smallest by total area.
