Edwards Town, Hinds County, Mississippi is a town located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1347 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 1292, making it the 154th most populous in Mississippi. The town encompasses an area of 1.67 sq mi (4.33 sq km), it is the 203rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Mississippi.
