Edmond City is a city in the Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, United States. It is home to over 68315 people (2000 census). As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 79559, giving it the sixth largest population among Oklahoma. Its area is just over 87.95 mi˛ (227.79 sq km), of which, 85.14 square miles (220.51 sq km) of it is land and 2.81 square miles (7.28 sq km) of it is water, making it the fourth largest by size in Oklahoma. It is ranks 12 in the size of its inland waterways in Oklahoma.

The racial makeup of the city was 59144 White, 2760 Black or African American, 1554 American Indian, 2225 Asian, 53 Native Hawaiian, 1962 from two or more races and 617 Ohter races.
