Edinboro Borough, Pennsylvania is a borough of the Erie County, Pennsylvania, United States. In 2000, the population was 6950. Its population was estimated at 6655 in July 2008, making it the 184th most populous in Pennsylvania. It has total area of 2.43 sq mi (6.29 square kilometre), of which, 2.32 square miles (6.01 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.11 square miles (0.28 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 286th largest by total area in Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 6950 people, 2087 households, and 830 families residing in the borough. The population density was 3000.6 people per square mile (1158.54/kmē), it is the 395th most densely populated borough in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. There were 2242 housing units at an average density of 966.4 per square mile (373.13/kmē). The average household size was 2.37 persons, and the average family size was 2.93 persons.
