Edina City is a city located in the Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 47425 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 45608, It is the 15th largest in terms of population. The city comprises an area of 16.04 mi˛ (41.54 sq km), of which, 15.75 square miles (40.79 sq km) of it is land and 0.3 square miles (0.78 sq km) of it is water, making it Minnesota's 72nd largest by total area.
