Edgewood Town is a town located in the Santa Fe County, New Mexico, United States. The population of the town was 1893 as per the 2000 census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 2742, It is the 78th largest by population in the U.S. state of New Mexico. Its area is just over 8.71 square miles (22.56 kmē), it is the 59th largest by area in the U.S. state of New Mexico.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1893 people, 457 households, and 284 families living in the town. The population density was 217.2 people per square mile (83.86/kmē), giving it the 144th most densely populated town among the New Mexico. There were 755 housing units at an average density of 86.7 per square mile (33.48/kmē). The average household size was 2.8 persons, and the average family size was 3.18 persons. In the town the population was distributed as follows: 32.9% under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 31% from 25 to 44, 24.4% from 45 to 64, and 6.4% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 98.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.3 males.
